Those who are not AGEd often later go through a process of genetic repair known as ‘Gene Therapy’.  The process does not fundamentally change the subject genetic code at all so much as bring out its latent potential, dampen disease expressions and overall bring them as close as possible to AGEd standards.

Solarians that have been AGEd do not go through gene therapy as their genetics have already been designed with a purpose in mind, this is only to clean up abnormalities in those born through normal processes.
